What was the brief?
Smart was approached by our client’s Environmental Division in an effort to consolidate their recruitment effort and provide a service level improvement across the entire business. The client was looking for a trusted agency to manage their large supply chain, ensure compliance was fully met, and that any unnecessary spending was controlled, and that’s where we stepped in.
The ‘Smart’ Solution
By taking our client’s recruitment from a localised supply to a national master vend solution, we were able to play an influential part in building the client’s permanent workforce. Through our Smart solution, we have been able to place specialist workers such as collection supervisors, HGV technicians, contracts managers, site managers, and engineers, with ease.
Another focus for us was improving current levels of compliance, ensuring this critical aspect of the business was taken care of. We also placed a heavy focus on transforming the business’s payroll, self-billing, PO and invoicing systems, leading to a 100% invoice accuracy to date.
Where are they now?
We are proud to have achieved an enviable fulfilment rate of 98% so far while working with this client and taken them to now having a fully compliant supply chain. We now outsource 20% of the recruitment to an approved panel of suppliers who are set and maintain monthly KPI commitments.
