Oliver Brown

Oliver (Oli) joined Smart Solutions in 2016 as a Senior Account Manager, stepping into the world of recruitment. What began as a role quickly turned into a journey that has taken me through various positions, including Regional and Divisional Support roles, General Manager, and Regional Director, culminating in his current role as Operations Director for the UK.

Throughout this journey, Oli has always prioritised what matters most: people and performance. Whether he’s visiting a site with a client or working alongside our operatives on a sortation plant, he believes the best results come from leading by example. Oli’s approach is to remain approachable, think strategically, and always be dependable.

Oli takes pride in having played a hands-on role in developing our fully managed service offerings, particularly in the waste and recycling sector, where he has helped boost efficiency, compliance, and retention across some of our busiest contracts. Oli works closely with clients and site teams to ensure their feedback helps shape our direction.
